How to map a MIDI controller in Ableton Live

5 steps · Written for Mac. On Windows, use Ctrl for Command and Alt for Option.

1. Press Command-M to enter MIDI Map Mode
2. Click the knob or button in Live you want to control
3. Move the knob or press the button on your controller
4. Press Command-M again to leave MIDI Map Mode
5. Move the controller to test it
