How to bend a layer with the Puppet Pin tool in After Effects

5 steps · Written for Mac. On Windows, use Ctrl for Command and Alt for Option.

1. Press Command-P to choose the Puppet Position Pin tool
2. Click on the layer to add pins at the joints
3. Move the time indicator
4. Drag a pin to bend the layer; a keyframe is added
5. Press Space to preview
