How to cut, copy and delete parts of audio in Audacity

4 steps · Written for Mac. On Windows, use Ctrl for Command and Alt for Option.

  1. Drag across the waveform to select a part
  2. Press Command-X to cut it or Command-C to copy it
  3. Click where it should go and press Command-V
  4. Select a part and press Delete to remove it
