How to insert an image as a figure in Overleaf
- Click the Upload button above the file list and upload the image
- Add \usepackage{graphicx} in the preamble
- Type \begin{figure} … \includegraphics[width=0.8\linewidth]{image.png} … \end{figure}
- Add \caption{…} inside the figure
- Click Recompile
