How to use the quick selection tool in Photoshop

5 steps · Written for Mac. On Windows, use Ctrl for Command and Alt for Option.

1. Choose the Quick Selection tool in the toolbar
2. Paint over the area you want to select
3. Hold Option and paint to remove parts you didn't want
4. Click Select and Mask in the options bar to refine the edges
5. Click OK
