How to write a melody in the Piano Roll in FL Studio

5 steps

1. Right-click a channel and choose Piano roll
2. Click in the grid to add a note, and drag its right edge to make it longer
3. Right-click a note to delete it
4. Add notes one after another to build a melody
5. Press Space to play the melody
