How to set the measure level to scale, ordinal or nominal in SPSS
- Click Variable View at the bottom
- Find the Measure column
- Click the variable's Measure cell and choose Scale, Ordinal or Nominal
- Use Scale for real numbers, Ordinal for ranked answers and Nominal for categories
