How to check reliability with Cronbach's alpha in SPSS
- Choose Analyze > Scale > Reliability Analysis
- Move all the questionnaire items into Items
- Keep Model set to Alpha
- Click Statistics, tick Scale if item deleted and click Continue
- Click OK
- Read Cronbach's Alpha in Reliability Statistics; around 0.7 or higher is usually acceptable
