How to fix missing values included in the analysis in SPSS
- Click Variable View at the bottom
- In the variable's row, click the Missing cell and then its … button
- Choose Discrete missing values
- Type the code that means no answer, for example 99
- Click OK and run the analysis again; 99 is no longer counted
