How to read the right p-value in a t-test table in SPSS
- Find the Independent Samples Test table in the Output window
- Look at Levene's Test for Equality of Variances first
- If its Sig. is above .05, read the row Equal variances assumed
- If its Sig. is .05 or below, read the row Equal variances not assumed
- In that row, read the two-sided p value; below .05 means the groups differ
