How to select cases with a condition in SPSS
- Choose Data > Select Cases
- Choose If condition is satisfied and click If
- Type the condition, for example gender = 1, and click Continue
- Under Output, keep Filter out unselected cases
- Click OK; unselected rows are crossed out in Data View
- To use everyone again, choose Data > Select Cases, choose All cases and click OK
